The weekend is over and the body is sore again as usual from all the yard work that must be done on Saturdays and Sundays. Really there are only 52 of them a year and several occur in the dead of winter which is too cold to do any serious work during besides which there is usually several inches of snow covering everything then so many tasks are automatically off limits. THis leaves about 40 weekends remaining and many of them end up raining so you are lucky to have about 25 weekends that are usable. Sometimes you also just want to take off and get away on a great weather weekend so that puts a few more off limits.
Now however it is time to play catch-up and handle all the autumn tasks that must be done before winter takes hold. So lots of leave-gathering and disposal took place. Several hours of that in fact. Also the small task of putting in a new 7 ft post for the clothesline (first a 2 foot hole and mixing of cement for a good mounting). My back, which was really bothering me last week due to an injury on the Sunday previous, is getting better but really took a pounding this weekend which may have actually made it better.
Work today is extremely boring but that is because the boss took a day of and didn't leavce me much to do.
